Custom Quartzite Fabrication and Installation

Quartzite is a natural stone made from the natural mineral quartz (not to be confused with the engineered material also named quartz) and is usually harder than Granite. Quartzite is usually light-colored because it began its geologic life as sand grains.

Quartzite is a decorative stone and may be used to cover walls, as roofing tiles, as flooring, and stair steps. Its use for countertops in kitchens is expanding rapidly. It is harder and more resistant to stains than granite. Crushed quartzite is sometimes used in road construction.
